I don't like having probelms with trailers, so I make sure that they are ready to go without wheels falling off, punctures, failing lights or any other problem that can be foreseen. So this has newish Indepension units on all four wheels, I have fitted van tyres (which take a greater load than ones designed for cars) and I use a trailer board because good quality ones (with led lights) work withount fuss and bother, 

I also don't like fuel in a tow car so there is storage for two jerry cans in the bed. I am including two 20litre cans. There is an electric 1/2 tonne winch with a seperate battery, which again sits in the bed. 

Although the trailer spare is mounted on the trailer, there is no tyre rack, although this would be an easy job to fabricate and mount.

Boredom during Covid lockdown inspired me to strip the trailer and overhaul it, there were a few corroded struts, so I replaced much of the original steel, the reult is no corrosion, or flexing, the trailer tows without snaking with or without a load. The bed is Aluminium checker plate which is also pretty good.

Tilting the bed, is a simple matter of removing two securing bolts, and jacking up the hydraulic ram. There are two short ramps that latch onto the back. (It all works perfectly)

Another unusual selling point is that with about an hour's work it is possible to replace two of the stub axles with a small dolley, which reduces the overall width 0f 1.98m which means it will fit into most single garages. If this is of interest I can provide more information and images.
