Porsche 996 GT3 RSR specification race car.

Originally this car was the Porsche Factory works own car, when Porsche campaigned 2 of their own fully funded cars. The cars were VINs WP0ZZZ99Z1S692201 and 202. Car with VIN ending 202 won the ALMS Championship in 2002 and Porsche decided to keep it in their museum storage where it sill lives today. This car VIN ending 201 was the championship runner up, and the Porsche factory insisted the car was fully rebuilt in order to sell it.

The car was sold to the then newly branded Flying Lizard Team (previously Rennworks) and this car became the first official Flying Lizard car. The Flying Lizard livery is of course now iconic and synonymous with Porsche GT racing.

This is a significant piece of Porsche racing history.
