1965 Ford Mustang Racecar

Description:
The car was commissioned by well-known historic racer Leo Voyazides, and built by the late Bruce Stevens who prepared Leo’s many winning cars. Built at a cost of over £100k more than 10 years ago, the car raced competitively in the US and Europe for many years. After an accident at Brands Hatch which damaged the front end, the car was rebuilt by Simon Hadfield before sale to the current owner. The new owner undertook some updates to the safety equipment, added a front splitter, and replaced perishable items such as brake pads, hydraulic cylinders, wheel bearing and seals etc.
After some successful testing last year, the owner has had a change of racing plans and now the car is available ready to go. Eligible for Bernie’s V8s, CSCC and many other European and US race series.
Technical spec: 347ci stroked engine on a 302 block, built by EDA (Kenny Coleman). Aluminium heads, dry sump, serpentine belt system, MSD ignition, BTB exhaust system. Dyno test after engine rebuild in March showed 587bhp and 490lbs-ft torque...! Dyno sheet and rebuild invoice are on file.
