Description:
Front running Merlyn Mk 11A, one meeting since total chassis rebuild for larger driver (I'm 6ft 3). Other racing committments mean I don't have time to race this wonderful car.
Merlyn chassis have consistently raced at the front and won in the fantastic HSCC Historic Formula Ford championship, as demonstrated by Samuel Harrison in 2022, and Pierre Livingstone and Callum Grant previously amongst others. A Merlyn has won this superb championship in 6 of the last 10 seasons.
This car has a newly powder coated chassis, raised dash and larger roll bar, side impact panels, fast rack, lightweight radiator. Original Mk 6 box. Good Ivey/Andresson engine. Spare Mk 28 bodywork and Mk 20 nosecone, original rack included.
HSCC VIF and complete history and log books from new when it rolled out of the factory. A superb example and opportunity to join this fantastic category.
This car has top ten finishes in Historics and runs at the front of the over 50s. Needs belts and extinguisher for the coming season. Bodywork good but could benefit from a bit of a repaint otherwise all ready to go!
