Description:

Sabre car as raced in the 750 Motor Club Sports 1000 championship. Last raced in 2021 since when it has been garaged. It's been on a trickle charger and regularly started and warmed up. The car was prepared for the start of the 2022 season and is ready to race as is.

AB Performance Sabre chassis. Constructed entirely with seamless T45 tubing for strength and lightness. Entirely TIG welded. I've modified the suspension from standard to build in more rising rate and optimise the ARB positions.

Unique lightweight carbon fibre bodywork. This leaves the car weighing just 450kg dry even though there's a lot of side impact protection in the chassis. The car currently has about 20kg of lead ballast positioned front left to get up to the Sports 1000 weight limit. If required, I will include the bodywork moulds with the car at no extra cost.

2009 Honda CBR1000 engine, rebuilt by Mike Smith Tuning 11 hours of running ago. The engine uses a Power Commander V and has the autotune unit should you wish to use it. Current regulations allow the Power Commander settings to be flashed into the ECU.

Wilwood 4 pot calipers all round, the front calipers are brand new. Cockpit adjustable brake bias.

Race Dynamics 13x7 wheels. Currently shod with Yokohama AO48s which have done 10 track sessions. Tyre regulations are changing for the 2023 season.

Race Technology DL1 and Dash 4 data logger and display. Historic data and track maps to get a new driver up to speed quickly for most UK circuits.

Black Art Designs three-way dampers fitted with Eibach springs, valved specifically for this car.

Adjustable carbon rear spoiler; wings are not permitted in Sports 1000.

Removable Momo steering wheel.

New brake pads (Wilwood PolymatriX Bs) fitted all round.

Built in FEV fire extinguisher, compatible with the latest regulations. This will need refreshing by FEV (about £150) for the 2023 season.

Schroth 6 point belts which expire at the end of 2026.
