Caterham 2.3 280BHP C400 Race / Trackday car

This ex-racer and track day car is now for sale and is totally ready for racing in Magnificent 7s or as an incredibly capable track day car. It has been refreshed and maintained by us over the past year and the owner has spared no expense in improving what was already a pretty mighty car! With an X-Power 280bhp 2.3 Duratec, Quaife sequential box, full Superlight cage and fire extinguisher the car is ready to race as soon as you are. 

New extra bespoke rear box to get decibels down to 92db

Bespoke Carbon air filter cover with sponge innards to aid in noise reduction and looks great

X-Power built 2.3 Duratec - 279bhp with approx 20 hours on it

Quaife 60G with Geartronics flatshift - all with 20 hours

The original c400 chassis was 2006 but got totally replaced around 6 years ago with the new engine and gearbox 2016 by Piero of X-Power engines with forged rods and pistons and since been refreshed in 2019.

Perfect Mag 7 car or very very fast track car, has lapped consistently at Castle Combe in the 1.11's with Avon ZZR'S its currently got pirelli p zero medium slicks on so that would shave at least 2 seconds a lap.

The car has led an easy life over the past few months but happy for a full inspection and should you want a passenger lap at a track day please Call and book a time to view her and chat about your options.
