The engine is cosworth 2.3 from the Caterham CSR 260 - hand built by Tom Bell Race engines with zero miles. Its a duratec block with 2.3 race crank, After that every single part is replaced with either cosworth or SBD parts to produce 260Hp, 200ftlb torque and revs to 8000rpm. All dry sump and laminova etc supplied by SBD the leading parts manufacturer for these types of engine.

Very flat smooth torque and power curves. Built to be easy to drive on track.

The car has been subject to literally every weight saving measure we could think of. This exercise cost around £20,000 and meant a Weld in T45 Cage (to front turrets), lightweight dash, T45 steering column, a custom wiring loom, GRP doors, GRP bonnet, GRP bumper, GRP roof and Lexan for all screens and windows. Li-On battery. No brake servo. No power steering. Pedal box - saves weight but also makes the Porsche 911 Brembo brakes more feelsome.

Suspension - Ground Control Koni true coilovers they just work with the E30 chassis. I dont even change the settings in the wet. The car is just easy to drive wet or dry. No vices. 

LSD - JC racing plated - uprated 4.1 ratio - finned diff cover for cooling.

Plumbed in Fire extinguiser, electrical cut out, ECU Master Electronic dash. In date harnesses.
