Mini Cooper S R53
Full new build car to a high standard, I used the car at the first round of kmsc modsport as a shake down to ensure everything was ok prior to selling.
car done well and ended up 2nd in class and 3rd overall so very capable car in the right hands.
the car was built to the smrc cooper s regs but will easily fall into many other race series up and down the country
spec is as follows:
R56 front brakes with new drilled/groved discs & mintex racing pads
R56 rear brakes with new discs and pads
Braided hoses throughout the car replacing original hard pipes, rear hoses routed through the inside to prevent damage
Powerflex front arm bushes
R56 rear arm conversion with powerflex bushes
Whiteline rear adjustable arb
Ast 5100 coilovers, camber adjustable front top mounts, powerflex rear top mount bushes
New bearings all round
Wheel stud conversion
New drop links all round
New handbrake cables
New abs sensors all round
New front carriers & refurbed callipers all round
New rack ends and track rod ends
All suspension components blasted and painted
Powerflex lower engine mount
Powerflex gearbox mount
Teamdynamic wheels with r888 tyres
Tow straps front and rear
Headlight blanks
Bonnet and boot pins
G-wing rear spoiler
Rain light
11% supercharger pulley
Ramaim intake system
Smrc championship mapped ecu
Engine fully stripped/cleaned/checked/ rebuilt with new gaskets etc
Solid flywheel conversion
New driveshafts
Heat wrapped exhaust manifold
Bulk head plastics all removed
Plastic radiator housing removed and rad mounts with metal brackets
Wiring loom fully stripped professionally and rewrapped
Manual kill switch
New fire extinguisher system
New 5 point harness
Cobra Monaco seat on adjustable runner
Saftey devices bolt in cage
300mm omp steering wheel
Foot plate fitted
All sound deadening removed
All seam sealer inside and engine bay removed
Front end stitch welded
Underside fully stone chipped
Fuel filler neck modified to allow rapid refuelling with a tuff jug (ideal for endurance racing)
