Caterham Seven Rolling Chassis Ex Academy race car [Imperial S3], circa 2001
There is no history or provenance for this chassis known to me. Bought in good faith through "racecarsdirect.com", where most of the caterham components were also sourced. To simply solve the  road registration  I have included a Q plate V5 Registration and vin plate for a 1990  Burlington Sports kit car registered to me since 2008.

The rolling chassis has been compiled as an inexpensive track day/Hill climb car with used parts unless stated as new, no doubt this will miss match the original car but achieve a good starting point.

All aluminium panels were removed  to expose the chassis frame, all anomalies, damage and corrosion repaired as required and the frame was modified to allow for a live axle [clearance for a moving propshaft etc & handbrake lever re-positioned] all without compromising the De Dion mountings, all bare metal work primed and re-painted prior to replacing all the aluminium panels. Lowered  floor panels to both sides, Although much care in the panel work was taken, the final finish, polishing or painting is up to your preference and really needs to be seen

THE CHASSIS COMES FITTED WITH USED COMPONENTS LISTED UNLESS LISTED AS NEW :-

1] Standard front suspension:- Bilstein [Adjustable Height] coil over dampers & springs. 10 inch Vented Disc's and 3 pot calipers [Girling ].

2] De Dion rear axle with 2 Degree[neg] arms. Bilstein[Adjustable Height] coil over dampers & springs.
   Modified Ford Sierra - Differential, drive shafts and 9 inch drums brakes,

3] Steering column with lift off mechanism, 14-inch steering wheel.crash/sliding joint as normal

4] Caterham  1 3/4 turn steering rack. New track rod ends and gaiters.

5] NEW Brake Master Cylinder, NEW Flexible Hoses, NEW Metal brake pipes, used Handbrake lever & cables

6] Clutch Cable supplied

7] Brake, Clutch and Throttle pedals fitted.

8] 5 X 15 inch MG F ALLOY WHEELS [the 4 tyres are part worn Dunlop wet weather] NEW RETAINING NUTS,  removable Spare wheel carrier supplied not fitted  optional.

9] Comes with a Ford Sierra prop shaft  for the diff flange for adaption of the prop shaft.

10] GRP Body panels have been repaired  but require cut and polishing, the nose has an experimental wrap in stretch chrome .

11] Scuttle panel and a plane Bonnet [unlouvered]  fitted.

12] Black framed Windscreen fitted.

13] Cobra high back seats.

14] Aluminium radiator [serviceable condition & pressure tested @13psi]
