For sale is our white 1989 Porsche 944 3.0 litre, 5 speed manual, developed over many years campaigning in classic sports racing, has been a great experience and will be greatly missed, we are taking a break from racing for a bit. Price advertised is for car, some esstinatial running spares, wets on wheels.

She is a 1989 Lux chassis with a rebuilt 1991 S2 3.0 litre engine, all chassis and engine numbers are complete and legible, but not currently road legal.

We purchased this car back in 2020 as a fully developed race car in desperate need of a refresh and update. We have spent the last nearly 2 years at considerable expense updating, refreshing and occasional running the car in both CSCC Future classics, and Also 750mc CALM all Porsche Trophy, it is now ready to race again and should give it’s new owner a great entry into Porsche racing, never failed to finish a race for us.

In Summary:

Replacement rebuilt 1991 S2 Engine fitted March 2022, runs great, has brand new Camshafts, timing chain, belts, waterpump etc etc, has been built close to standrd spec to keep realibility and to fit in best power to weight category.

New Clutch kit March 2022 (0 miles since fitting)

Gaz Gold Coilovers well setup for most circuits

Full Rollcage (Safety Devices)

OMP First seat supplied and fitted early 2021 (in date to 2025), will also fit in a matching OMP first passenger/instructor seat and rails (date expired) for the right offer.

OMP 6 point Harness (Hans friendly version) supplied and fitted Early 2021 (also in date to 2025)

Lifeline FIA Approved 4 litre mechanical extinguisher system (including all new pipes and nozzles as per 2022 regs) supplied and fitted Early 2021 (Cylinder will need a service now as per new fire system regs, but it's only just 2 years old so should be fine, 60 quid roughly with Merlin or similar shop)

Mintex 1155 Pads, in turbo calipers and braided hoses.

Rebuilt starter motor and all new clutch cylinders and lines

Lightweight Race battery (early 2021), solid state starter relay for reliability

Has LSD fitted (Quaife system), works superbly.

Originally built by Pro-9 Porsche and maintained by race specialists since, makes a superb low cost competitive motorsport series option. Suitably lightweight at 1100KG with ¼ tank of fuel and all other fluids without driver, car certainly capable of very quick times. Just the nicest handling racecar i have ever driven, with brilliant natural balance and very forgiving when you are less than perfect in racing line.

Can run in many different series, with 750MC, or BRSCC, or CSCC in fact most clubs have a series it will fit into.

Regular fluid changes and lots of recent maintenance a well sorted car that is ready to go immediately, with all the safety equipment in date and properly fitted.

Bodywork does show some age and a few marks as expected from a good usable racecar.

Lots of receipts and history with the car to support recent refresh.

Dropped to £12,000 with spares, and wets on wheels included. I am willing to discuss a sensible offer.
