Completely rebuilt over winter 2020/21 and has run just 160KM since. Possibly the only Bandit powered MK out there and it has a great history, originally built for a member of the Keenan family who founded MK as an S2000 powered road car in Honda F1 livery it was then converted for race use and after a successful racing career where it won several races in the CNC Heads Championship was converted to BEC power by Steve Keenan. The car is pictured several times on the MK Website in Brawn GP and BAR/Honda F1 livery.
Incredibly high spec all round with over £3500 of electronics and data logging - ideal driver training car as the data system is the same as that found in many six figure race cars!
During the rebuild all bearings were checked and replaced as required, frame and wishbones crack tested and touched up if required, diff rebuilt, new chassis and engine looms (professionally built with Deutsch connectors), new steering column and bearings, rack serviced, new air filter and induction system, new exhaust manifold and collector, new belts, fire systems etc. etc.
Two sets of wheels included, one set of Revolution 13" wheels with Michelin Wets in used condition. One Set of Compomotive CXR 13" wheels with brand new Pirelli Slicks in as new condition.
Also included is a spares package which includes various nuts, bolts, fittings etc. as well as discs, pads, manuals, spare side bodywork etc. etc.
There are many 3D printed and bespoke designed parts on the car and CAD is included along with full wiring harness schedules etc.
The Bandit 1250 engine was mapped by RLM and the ECU is unlocked via Woolich Racing Software/Cable (which his included). It is fantastic, producing 125bhp/90ftlbs at the wheels on RLMs dyno and 151bhp calculated fly wheel power on a Superflow dyno. If required performance can be increased further with a set of drop in Yoshi cams or reprofiling the standard cams which RLM are happy to arrange and expect to add 10 – 12bhp. RLM were very impressed with the engine and car in general during mapping. It makes an excellent track car power unit as it is widely available at very reasonable cost, is reliable and light weight. Performance is very similar to an R1 powered car with the tuned Bandit motor producing similar figures to a 2000 – 2003 R1 engine but at a lower RPM and with more torque available across the rev range due to the large capacity.
Standard ratios are fitted but with a 3.3 CWP in the rear which gears the car for 127mph at 10K RPM. This is pretty perfect for most UK circuits. A 4.1 CWP is included too, in case someone wishes to sprint or hill climb the car.

The car is built for track use, it could be converted to road legal but would need IVA'ing with associated lights, belts, nut covers etc. etc. which would rather spoil it! It is not road legal.
It is currently configured as a single seater with a tonneau cover and padded safety bar, an additional passenger seat (same design and trim as the drivers seat) and additional harness is included which is a straight bolt in in place of the fire bottle should you wish to make it a two seater for track day passenger rides etc.
For sale as I have only managed 160KM in it since it was rebuild and it has spent the majority of its time in my garage. There are a few marks on the bodywork from its racing career but no more than would be expected and it presents extremely nicely.
Also included is a single axle tilt trailer manufactured by Amca Noval and plated at 1300KG which suits the car perfectly. The trailer has a battery box, remote control winch and full lighting. It was serviced in Feb 2021 which included new wheels nuts, new commercial grade tyres, brake service and lubrication service.
