BMW E30 rolling shell.  I purchased this about a year ago from an ex-employee as he was in need of some space & funds at the time with the idea of engine swapping it & having some fun on track. Sadly the last year hasn’t allowed me the time to work on it & with the current workloads we have I don’t expect to get back to it anytime soon. I could just sit on it for years & years whilst it appreciated in value but that’s not my style this car needs to go to someone that will breath new life into her as I had originally intended to. The car has been dry stored so the mentions of rust are no worse than they were & in all honesty aren’t that bad anyway but he is like me & very fussy & perhaps a bit OCD! Lol

I have copy & pasted the original advert below that he wrote for total transparency;

This car has been owned by me for 10 years now.  Car was purchased as an active race car, and was used regularly early on until the engine expired, and I discovered serious corrosion in the bulkhead.  This was repaired, along with several other areas which were repaired and upgraded, and the car was resprayed.  Since then the car has been reassembled but unused.  Engine, gearbox and differential have all been sold (206hp ATW M20, Getrag 262 CR gearbox, upgraded small case LSD).  Whilst the car has not been used in 5 years+, it does however need some repair due to being stored in a damp garage.  Rust is showing on the left C-pillar, and righthand quarter panel.  Whilst this needs attending to the damage is purely cosmetic.  Shell is fully prepped and ready to go with the engine package of your choice, and would make a fantastic track day or competition car.  I had planned to keep the car racing myself but other life commitments have stopped that from being possible.  I now have no space to store the car so it must go!

Spec is as follows:

- Seam welded E30 2dr shell with notched bulkhead for fitment of airbox/ITB's.

- Originally Safety Devices bolt in cage, converted to weld in, with new door bars, dash bar and rear triangulation.

- Fibreglass bumpers, bonnet and rear spoiler.

- Foam filled aluminium fuel tank.

- Adjustable camber/toe rear axle with solid mountings and nylon trailing arm bushes.

- Strengthened front subframe.

- E46 purpletag Clubsport steering rack with rose jointed steering arms.

- Leda coilovers.

- Adjustable front and rear anti roll bars.

- BMW M5 front brakes and Porsche twin piston rear brakes.

- New solid and braided brake lines throughout.

- Bias adjustable pedalbox with all new brake and clutch master cylinders.

- 7" split rims (1x built set on car, 1x set in pieces).

- Brand new Motorsport UK compliant plastic windows.

- Fire extinguisher system (cockpit and engine bay)

- Snap off steering wheel

- 5 point harness

- Small spares package including headlights, rear axle and fibreglass boot lid. 

I think that’s it!  The car is not road legal and I have no registration documents to make it road legal.  This is/was a full time race car and had been for 20 years, so as such it’s not a show car and not all the panels are 100% straight on it!  It’s a good solid car which needs a bit of work and an engine to build a very capable track or race car.  Viewing absolutely recommended.  However any extra pictures required are available on request, and I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.
