Description:
This is car number 5 (HEG 005) of 64 cars made by VW for the one make championship in 1999. The car has been updated, initially to run in the UK VW Cup championship with an upgrade to a race prepared R32 engine, currently limited to around 270BHP.
The engine was freshly rebuilt by Grant Motorsport in 2015 and has covered limited race miles since.
Extensive specification, original 6 speed close ratio Cup car gearbox with LSD, full factory roll cage, Ohlin adjustable shocks, Racetech DL1 Data logger with display, SPA electronic Fire Extinguisher. Three sets of orginal wheels with spare rubber (Dunlop BTCC).
