Offered for sale is an extremely well maintained 1962 MG MGA 1600 Mk2 roadster. Continued ownership for 30 years.
After a full nut & bolt restoration, during its lifetime this MGA has been further enhanced to improve handling and drivability.

These modifications include:

Fast road cam (pipercam B270), balanced crankshaft, lightened flywheel all for improved responsiveness.

Sports exhaust manifold

Oilcooler 13 row

Spin on oil filter

K&N airfilters

12 volt negative earth (twin 12v batteries)

Alternator

Anti rollbar (front)

Koni shocks (rear)

Recent work includes refurbishment of the gearbox (a.o. new front bearing, all new gaskets), new clutch slave cylinder and new rear breakdrums.

The softtop present with the car is a fabric, double duck type (no vinyl). By separate negotiation there is a very collectable genuine factory aluminium VandenPlas hardtop available (unrestored condition, but very useable).

The history file accompanying this car is massive with many invoices and maintenance work that is carried out during the last 30 years.
