It is a 64 series 1 E Type, prepared to Pre-63 GT - E Period FIA specs.
Engine develops 320 BHP and has around 6 hours of use since full rebuilt. HTP is valid (2027) and all the safety elements are new : full roll cage, harness, tillet bucket seat, willans harness, automatic extinguisher, …
2 sets of wheels will be sold with the car.
The car is currently in RHD, but can be switched easily to LHD, we have all the spare parts to do it.
Engine runs really nice, we did one race after buying the car at Estoril in order to check everything (we did well as we had some ignition troubles…), we raced smoothly in 2.11, car is worth 2.07, 4 secs below semi lightweight. Chassis was not well adjusted and we just bought a full set from Valley Motorsport wich will be fitted on the car for the sale (shock absorbers and race springs).
This car is the perfect toy in France for Peter Auto Series : in sixties endurance, it’s a top 10 in general, first in class, in fifties legend potential winner, Top 10 at Le Mans Classic (top 5 in some very good hands), Top 10 at Le Tour Auto (and it will be taken at le tour auto as there is no Pre 61 E Type currently racing and the organisation likes them).
