Description:
The car was built from a bare shell for Stock Hatch racing with 750 MC, progressing to Hot Hatch, then Ford Saloons, Blue Oval, Classic Touring & Racing Car Club. Throughout this, the car has been in the care of the same engineer who built it at PC Motorsport.
Engine: XR2i balanced crank, steel rods, acrylate pistons, lean-burn high compression head, Kent camcvh28, solid cam followers, Maniflow 4 into1 manifold, twin 45dcoe carbs, (recently overhauled), lightweight flywheel with AP twin-plate clutch, modified distributor.
Transmission: IB5 gearbox fitted with Quaife close ratio gear kit, 4.08cwp, RS turbo LSD.
Recently overhauled gear linkage
Brakes: Escort Cosworth callipers & discs, DS3000 pads, Tiltron pedal box with AP cylinders, and bias adjuster.
Suspension: Gaz coil overs front and rear, recently replaced front bottom arms.
Body shell: It is fitted with SI bumpers. Multi-point bolt-in cage, alloy fuel tank, Corbeau seat, Team Dynamics pro race wheels, laminated windscreen, otherwise polycarbonate windows. Demister system fitted.
