This is a 1972 Detomaso Pantera. VIN: THPNMB02598

It was owned by MD Engineering / Mike Digonis until it was purchased by me and restored it at Oldtimer Studio.

It had various appearances at Bonneville, in 1981 and 1990 (both documented).

Won the US Express in 1982 and it came second in 1984. (both documented)

It was purchased by me in 2016 from Beverly Hills Car Club and I fully restored it. The car was fully sandblasted and the body was fully restored. As Mike used to say, he was never really able to remove all salt it got by running at Bonneville. So, the work on the body was extensive. The car features a handmade aluminium bonnet and decklid.

The engine is a group 4 351 Cleveland engine completely rebuilt that develops 550 bhp. It is equipped, among others, with Mahle pistons, forged connecting rods, mechanical rollers, a dry sump, and 4 double barrel 48 IDA carburettors.

The gearbox is a rebuilt ZF gearbox and has the FIA homologation ratios.

The brakes are Willwood brakes and the car is equipped with brake bias adjustment on the brake pedal.

The rollcage is an FIA homologated Sasssa rollcage. Seats and belts are FIA homologated.

The wheels are extremely light-alloy 15*14" on the rear and 15*10" on the front.

The wiring loom is brand new. The dashboard comes from an original Group 4 Pantera.

The car won several hillclimb races and track races in Romania, being the 2019 and 2020 champion.

The car is ready to race.
