1970 Porsche 911T

Number matching one owner (same family) owned car since new imported from Ontario Canada. This car went through a 4 plus years cost no object ground up restoration by Porsche experts in Southern California.

Body: Media blasted to bare metal shell, all rust repaired in steel, $20,000 paint job in OEM slate grey inside and out, it’s the same color as the car seen in the beginning of the movie LeMens. Original color is red (certified by Porsche).

Undercoating is in original grey OEM undercoating.

Body trims: All stainless trims and aluminum trims are polished and re-anodized as factory. Chrome trims are either new or re-chromed. All rubber weather seals are new, new H4 headlights, all new lens front and back.

Chassis and suspension: All suspension pieces are new or re-powder coated as new, brand new bushings, new Konis at 4 corners, all new motor mounts and transmission mounts. Brand new hydraulic lines for brakes and clutch, new master cylinders, new brakes, rebuilt steering rack, torsion bars and sway bars powder coated as original.

Engine: Complete rebuilt by Mirage International in San Diego California, The original engine builder for all early fame Singer cars. This 2.2 liter engine is blue printed and balanced with polished heads. Higher compression pistons, factory S cams, S spec Weber carburetor. In reality, it is a 911 T with S performance. All engine bay tins powder coated as OEM, otherwise, engine compartment appears as OEM stock with new hardware in proper plating.

Transmission: Complete rebuilt 901 5 speed gearbox with new clutch.

Cockpit: All gauges were rebuilt with new speedo cable, new dash top, original heater control, rebuilt original German radio, recovered OEM steering wheel, new floor boards, new horn, and pedals.

Interior: In original stock appearance, both front seats are re-trimmed in OEM German black leather, matching rear seats, OEM German carpeting throughout, new door panels, re-trimmed rear side panels, new door pockets, new headliner and bows, new rear parcel shelf panel, new door handles and window cranks, new door knobs, everything is functioning as they should.

Safety equipment: Original seat belts are re-webbed for safety.

The misc. items are too much to list. Over 100K spent with invoice. This car looks as good underneath as it’s exterior, the engine bay and trunk are both as appealing. New gas tank with new seal, new trunk carpet, new tool kit, 5 new ultra-light Fuch wheels. (4 original 14” Fuch wheels available for $1000. 5 brand new 195 Pirelli tires. Original jack comes with the car.

Conclusion: Engine has only 300 miles since completion of restoration. It needs to be driven to 500 miles for oil change, valve adjustment and carburetor adjustment.
