1974 RS2000 Race Car
Type 49 shell with V5 has been registered with the RS and AVO owners club. Chassis rails filled with Wax oil. Originally a rally car then raced BRSCC Ford Saloons Championship for many years and more recently BTCRCC.
Has just undergone full rebuild by SGS racing. Sierra Cyl Head heavily worked on with enlarged Inlet and Exhaust Ports. Engine fully lightened and balanced with Skimmed Flywheel. Kent RL32 Cam. Hi Torque Starter motor. Quick release Bell Housing. Vernier Pulley Wheel, Electronic Distributor. New Alternator / Battery, Race Coil. Race Timing Belt. Rebuilt Twin 45 Webbers, New Oil Cooler.
New Paddle Competition clutch. Hyd Clutch conversion. Quaife 4 Speed Straight Cut Heavy Pro Race Gearbox with Steel Rings, Quaife rose jointed gear lever. GRP1 Rally Prop Shaft lightened and balanced. Quick release competition Bell Housing.
Salisbury Axle with A Tran X LSD Diff. 5 Linked, GRP4 Linking Mounts, Watts Linkage weld on kit plus radius arms, Yellow Poly Bushed.
Front 4 Pot Princess Callipers with new Seal Kits and Pads, Solid Vented Discs. Rear Cosworth rear Discs and Callipers, Aero Quip lines throughout. Brake Bias valve.
Bilstein Front World Cup Struts with Bilstein Tarmac 300/70 inserts. Fully adjustable platforms with 400lb Springs, Alloy Roller Top Mounts with new bearings and Alloy caps. Poly bushed throughout.
Bilstein Yellow Tarmac Shocks
Full MSA Safety Devices Bolt in 6point System with additional strengthening.
Hardly used belts and seats. Electronic Fire System. All Competition compliant. Detachable steering wheel.
