Ford Escort 1300 Sport

The Sport is a rare find, you will have more chance finding a Mexico or an RS2000 for sale before you will find a Sport..especially a Monza blue Sport.

This Sport was first registered on 16.01.1973 and has had three owners, one of those owners was the wife of the first owner. I have the past registration certificates with the three owners’ names, this also includes the original registration certificate from 1973.

It was refreshed by the last owner five years ago, who had owned it for many years. It was fully resprayed with all glass and parts removed, underneath was also sprayed. Seats have been recovered. New door seals. The paintwork has some orange peel, but this is only noticeable closeup. The car is not concours but is extremely solid and very presentable.

I am using it myself at the moment and will be until it sells. It drives very well, everything works as it should and it’s a real pleasure to drive.
