A mainstay of club motorsport in the 1960s, the diminutive Elan was all but unbeatable in the smaller capacity sports car classes and often a contender for the overall classification. It's much the same today in contemporary historic racing.

A production-based car to pre-26R spec, this first series example has a lightweight narrow body, a strengthened standard chassis, a fresh Craig Beck engine and a semi-close ratio gearbox. A successful Roadsports entry in a previous ownership, the car was a Goodwood Revival race-winner as recently as last year. It was an invitee to this year’s Members’ Meeting.

UK road-registered, with newly-issued UK FIA papers and in-date safety equipment, the car is fully race-ready, having been prepared by Nick Adams at Historic Racing Services ahead of the current season. It’s an attractive and proven race-winner.
