Radical SR3 Supersport  - 1500 RPE Engine

Reluctantly up for sale is my sr3 due to other projects and not enough time to enjoy.

The ultimate track car at not much over 600kg and pushing 260hp, great value for money, capable of humbling the most exotic of supercars and often one of the quickest cars on track!  (can even be made road legal?)

I have owned the car for 3-4 years and has been used for a couple of trouble free trackdays per year. Only problem I've had is the output shaft failed,common issue on these over time. This was replaced with new shaft and coupler and whilst this was done the bottom end was rebuilt with new shell bearings,oil pump,heavy duty gear detent and a higher volume oil pump gear. None of these actually required but the engine was apart anyway so just for piece of mind.

Since the rebuild I have done one shakedown end of last year and one trackday this year, 50 odd laps of Oulton Park. Over the winter it also had new master cylinders,front pads,and all fluids replaced.

It runs the RPE 1500 engine, a tuned version of the hayabusa 1300.(non turbo)

large oil and water coolers,electric fan fitted to aid oil temp build up without water getting to hot and if your in a queue etc entering circuit,the car can idle all day and not get hot at all!

Quaiffe gear drive unit (with reverse) LSD and separate oil cooler

Faringdon digi dash Q/R steering wheel with shift lights,all parameters,lap times etc(old dash still in centre)

Red top battery and Jump start battery via anderson plug.

Pneumatic air jacks with easy fill/release port at rear

It has been well maintained and driven with mechanical sympathy in mind,Water temp always above 75 degrees and oil temp above 50 degrees before going anywhere or above 4000rpm.Short shifted always using clutch (i’m not breaking records just some trackway fun) I believe this car was raced for one season and since has done minimum miles,most of which with me.

Also comes with box trailer, quick lift front jack, a spare set of rims with very good wets fitted,2x additional dunlop wets fronts also very good condition,and potentially paolli pitstop wheel gun,dive bottle and high pressure regulator.
