The VB1 runs a correct Hartwell Imp 1000cc race engine with twin DCOE Webers mated to a Hewland MK9 gearbox. In period it was reckoned the engine put out approx 100bhp - it revs happily to 9000rpm, with the power starting at around 4500rpm on its race cam. Since the engine was refreshed by an Imp expert a few years ago it has not been used in anger.

Features: 2 sets of Revolution alloy wheels. Twin Weber DCOE carbs. Full set of body moulds to make new panels if required. 4 speed Hewland Mk9 gearbox. Charming period race car that looks like a miniature Lotus 49 and deserves to be loved and kept in one piece. The parts alone are worth the asking price.
