The MK1 Austin Healey combines the great looks of the 100-6 with increased power and disc brakes of it’s younger siblings. Also, the pre 1960 built year makes it eligible for more historic rallies and therefore we find MK1’s the most desirable of all Healeys. 

Originally a Californian car, this early “big” Healey was brought back to the UK in the nineties where she received a professional ground up restoration including many sensible upgrades like a leadfree head and a bigger radiator block.

The current owner is the third on record since the restoration and has further upgraded the car with a dual brake circuit, uprated front and rear suspension, PU bushes, Dampers, side exhaust etc. The car has been used in a few historic tarmac only road rallies and drives, brakes and steers perfectly.   

A few years ago, the engine was professionally inspected internally and found to be in excellent order, report available. 

The car has benefitted from a recent and completely correct respray and is 100% ready for new adventures.
