Peugeot XV8R - Special Prototype - Rolling Chassis
Description:
The Peugeot XV8R was commissioned by Mike Endean, founder of XTRAC, the world’s leading Race Car Transmission Manufacturers and it was built without regard to cost.
Built as a prototype Touring Car/Trackday experience the car featured a Cosworth XB with approx. 650BHP (now removed), an XTRAC DTM Transaxle which would cost £50k + to replace, MOTEC dash, Koni dampers, pushrod suspension and many, many more features. The chassis is of spaceframe construction enabling other body shapes to be fitted over the frame if required.
The car was developed by Kelvin Burt and Matt Griffin and the team at QM Engineering, entered as a one off in a Britcar V8 race at Donington winning by over a lap. It's a very quick car.
Technical support and back-up can be provided if required.
The car is now offered as a rolling chassis.
Available to view near Silverstone.
