Built by Crossle ((See: http://crossle.co.uk/) in N. Ireland in 2013 for a client and used for race series for 3 seasons. I have owned for last 3 years when it has only been used for occasional track days - no more than 12 over that period. A well-respected car in the Crosslé Drivers Club.

Good condition throughout and well maintained over past three years by race mechanic.

Ford Zetec 2 litre twin cam prepared by Dunnell incorporating Weber carburettors producing 220BHP. Hewland Mk 9 five speed gearbox with LSD.

Comes with three sets of tyres (slicks, intermediates and wets) and two sets of minilite wheels. Passenger seat currently fitted with new Schroth harness but  long-range tank available with other spares including oil cooler & radiator

Bespoke cover 

Front suspension is fully rose jointed, unequal length wishbones with adjustable coil springs damper units, damper units and spring platforms.

Rear suspension – Fully rose jointed lower wishbone, trailing links and top transverse link with adjustable coil spring damper units and spring platforms.

Brakes are solid discs, front & rear using cockpit adjustable brake bias as standard.

Anti-roll bars front and rear fully adjustable.

Wheel base: 90 inches. Max width: 66 inches

Bodywork is constructed in lightweight self-coloured fibreglass, the six-section body is designed to allow the owner to have total access to all areas. The front and rear sections are hinged for ease of operation and can be removed quickly for unhindered access.

Chassis is a tubular steel spaceframe faithfully following the original 1966 design. It now incorporates the latest safety requirements such as the integrated roll hoop, fabricated from T45/4130 material. All chassis parts are manufactured from mild and alloy steel and are black powder coated finished. Floor panels are stressed in T6 fully hardened aluminium.

The original Crosslé 9S was conceived by John Crosslé in 1965 to contest the European International Two Litre Group Six Championship against the might of Chevron, Lotus, Elva, Brabham and Lola on circuits as diverse as Montlhéry, Phoenix Park and Silverstone.
