Description:
This very special and unique Frogeye was originally purpose built in 2008 at Old Dairy Classics by the late & great Allan Cameron using his own massive wealth of experience from building and racing Austin Healey cars for many years and also combined with some external motorsport engineering input to build the “fastest frog”.
A brief outline is below:

The whole car is configured for lightness and optimum corner weight balance to give the best handling possible.
There is also a large box of springs with differing rates and lengths to enable changes to suit differing tracks or driving preferences.
The car weighs 523 kgs with ~15 litres (~12 kgs) of fuel.
Corner weights are as follows :
NSF : 143 kgs OSF: 149 kgs
NSR: 124 kgs OSR : 107 kgs
The above are WITHOUT a driver’s weight on board so as the driver’s weight will sit predominantly over the OSR, it will bring the OSR weight up, making it is a nicely balanced car.
There are two rolling road print outs showing the power AT THE REAR WHEELS to be 106 bhp. Working on transmission losses of ~15% this calculates to ~120 bhp at the flywheel.
I purchased the car from Drew Cameron about 3 years ago with the intention of racing it with the CSCC in their Swinging 60’s race series but with also racing Caterhams I simply do not have the time to do both and the car is far too good to sit idle in the garage.
The car was originally built for Class E of the Lackford Engineering MG Midget and Sprite Challenge and as such had wide arches and large offset wheels.
The CSCC require an original silhouette, hence the wide arches have been removed, the original standard arch profile has been restored and standard offset wheels purchased for the car.
During the bodywork modifications the car was also repainted from the Old English White to the Iris / baby blue that is shown in the photos.
The car is freshly serviced with all fluids changed plus a complete spanner check. Wheels and the Avon A048r tyres are brand new.
The racing harness and fire extinguisher are fine for track days etc but will need updating for circuit racing, which I can probably help provide from one of my other cars if required.
In addition to the large boxes of springs of differing rates that comes with the car, there is also some spare brake pads plus 6 spare wheels (Revolution 4 spokes).
There is a folder of paperwork / receipts / history etc.
The car is not concours or show standard by any means and nor is it one for the purists. This car was built with solely one purpose in mind – to win races !
Please feel free to call me with any sensible questions and / or to come and view the car.
