This very well-maintained and well-serviced Dallara 388 F3, in its original trim, ran the German F3 Championship in 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991 and 1992. It was in 1988: HC Hessel Motorsport: Marc Hessel; 1989: Team Himmelmos: Mario Moser; And 1990-1992: Petutschnig Engineering: Wolfgang Petutschnig. Then Switzerland.
Joe Zeller Racing , until 1996 - where it went to Austria - HISTO CUP.
Now it had 2 races i Denmark, but due to private matters, it need to go.
For a Historic F3 the Dallara F388 i easy to drive! Comes with fresh Michelin slicks (2018)
After that it stood still until the late 90's and drove the Austrian Histro Cup for a few years, even by a professional team. Then it was sold to Greece, where it drove very few times, and was used as a show-car in a cardealershop, with the F1 wheels on :-) . Gearbox, engine and car (cooler + all technology) fully renovated incl. Wiring network in 1997, ran 2018 in DK.
The racer has new technical safety equipment in 2017.
The car is nice running condition. New belt / belt tensioner/enginebearings/3 x lithium cells/mastercylinders/joints/all complete brakeclalibers with new pistons & seals/fuel-lines & pump/etc.
Engine: 2000 cc Toms Toyota. 16 Valve. With the car comes 2 set of racing F3 wheels and if priced ok, one set of BBS very wide F1-style 13 "show wheels. Show wheels have apparently been from a Ayrton Senna F1 car but there is no guarantee for this statement. These wheels are NOT incl. in the price!
The engine cover is been made back to original.
There are some spare parts: 2 front hub, 2 nosecone, a few other parts, a 24 mm limiter, top piece etc. The Dallara 388 manual and some history papers are included. There is full history on the car. Come and have a look :-)
