Roush Yates Racing Engines (RYRE) #26, built to compete on NASCAR Sprint cup's unrestricted tracks. Was leased to the Roush 3M team under 2010. It was never raced, only used for tests and qualification.. I bought it direct from Roush Yates in North Carolina in 2011 and it has been sitting unused as a spare engine since. The cylinder block is a Ford R-452 made of compact graphite with 4,090" cylinder bores. Combined with a stroke of 3,400" stroke gives a volume of 358 cu.in./5,8L. Camshaft is a flat-tappet as per Nascar rules, heads are Yates D3 racing fitted with Del West titanium valves. Pedestal rocker arms is Roush Yates own design. Carburettor is BLP/Holley (new) flowing approx 1030cfm, Roush Yates stainless headers of 4-2-1 type. Crankcase is separated in 4 different units, each with a connection to the 6-stage Verdi oil-pump. Oil lines are braided stainless steel hoses, dry-sump oil-tank, QM 7,25" 3-disc sinter clutch, starter motor, 140A alternator. Brand new MSD 6HVC-L Pro ignition system. New Peterson oil filter. And more... Engine power is 850bhp at 9200rpm, torque 560ft.lbs. Engine weight with all ancillaries is approx 220kg. Engine is complete and in new condition throughout with a quality of the build normally found in Formula 1 of the same period.
