Description:

Ford RS200 Gr. B - unused original chassis / monocoque with original “Lightweight” full carbon bodywork that was developed and made by Ford as the next generation Evolution specification – however never used as the Gr.B cars were banned at the end of the 1986 season.

The roll cage is “next EVO spec” type with an improved front suspension set up.

The engine is an original EVO 2,1L engine, stroked to 2,4L and with up to 1000hp. Engine is just been overhauled and has titanium valves (F1) and all the best bits. Original Motronic engine wiring loom can follow, but not useable for this engine, so the engine is set up with new Pectel system.

Gearbox is a Ferguson Rally type and should be modified to handle the power. Quife can supply dog box internals that can handle this much power, alternatively a sequential gearbox can be used.

All brakes and suspension parts are Ford motorsport/Works parts with stronger driveshafts, differentials, brakes etc. compared even to the EVO cars.

This project is sold as is with most of the parts to complete the car including original Speedline wheels, except the following parts that is not included:

- Interior and seats

- Intercooler

- VDO instruments (have some of these)

- Shock Absorbers

We can  source these missing parts if a complete kit is preferred, but most of these parts are neither difficult to source or expensive. Alternatively, we can complete the build of the car and deliver it ready for road and/or race.

Additional parts as a spares package can follow, and depending on the use, whether it shall be used for Road, Rally or Racing, we can deliver the project to different specifications.

This car cannot be compared to a standard RS200, as there is a huge difference between a standard RS200 road car and a EVO++ car. 

This NOS chassis was imported to Norway in period (1987) and has all the EVO features.

The original invoice from Ford Motorsport Boreham is available. The car comes with Norwegian registration papers and is located in Norway.
