Description:
** Sale Agreed - Deposit Received **
This RF83 Van Diemen was built by set-up specialist Colin Gigner to compete in the Classic FF2000 Championship.
The car claimed the title in the hands of Andrew Huxtable. More recently the car has been campaigned by Drew Cameron.
This RF83 has recently received a once-over during the winter break. Rose joints, cooling system (rads, hoses & water pump), wish bones, Bilstein shocks dyno'd (@ SP), new Springs, discs & pads, tacho, temp gauge & coil all recently replaced/renewed.
** The car also comes with a freshly rebuilt Neil Brown engine ** - (One Event in 2018 - Top & Tail at TS Historic July 2018)
The car won at Donington Park in April 2018, as well as two wins at Croft in August 2017.
The RF83 is supplied with two sets of wheels - 1 set of slicks and 1 set of wets (8x Revolution rims), a spare nose box, spare front wings, spare stainless manifold & spare body top section.
The car was built using a URS chassis, lightweight panels, light weight rear wing-post. This is the perfect car for competing in the HSCC Classic FF2000 Series.
Hewland Mk 9 Gearbox: 10:31 cwp supplied with 15:36, 21:30, 18:32 & 23:27 gears
The car is in my business' livery (black, orange and white) but the car is actually red and white below the sticky (vinyl - See later image). I will de-brand it for sale, but leave the car black (unless you wish to remain a mobile advert).
Belts good for 2018 & Extinguisher is good for 2019. Ready to Race.
The Van Diemen will accommodate virtually any driver, unlike many of the earlier chassis. Current driver is 6ft 3.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call/text/email me.

£15,500.00 - Sensible offers will be considered.
The car now needs a new home as I only require one FF2000 chassis (according to my loving wife).
