Toyota MR2 Mk3 2ZZ Supercharged

 

Multiple class winning race car. Owned since 2008 and developed with no expense spared in to this very quick car. Originally built to compete in the MR2 Championship where it racked up a decent haul of wins and lap records including the Class C Championship in 2011. Since then it has been built to compete in the top classes in various UK club series (MSV TDC, Roadsports, Club enduro). After 2012 season the car was garaged whilst we competed in Britcar in a V6 powered MR2 Super GT. In 2014 we decided to start racing in shorter endurance style races and bought this car back out racing, we mainly competed in 750mc Roadsports during 2014/2015 where we racked up a class wins, podiums and lap records. During 2016 we didn’t race and decided to focus on developing the car further. Due to family commitments we didn’t compete much during the 2017 season only 2 races at Silverstone National and Snetterton 300, plus a couple of test days. This year we haven’t competed in any series only track and test days at Silverstone GP. The car is very quick and ready to race having had a significant amount of money spent on it.

The car went through a comprehensive rebuild in 2016/2017 and has only seen approx. 10hrs of running since.
