Camaro Z28 ex Hennie Hemmes with new HTP valid until 31/12/28.
Hennie HEMMES was a car jounalist and race car driver, she competed in the Dutch Touring Car Championship and the annual 24 hrs of Spa.
In 1978 at the 24 hrs of Spa, she, with two other drivers, managed pole position with an average of 121 mph.
After 16 hrs of leading the race an axle shaft broke.
From 1978 till 1986 the car competed in all events for the DTCC winning it in 1984.
Also in the early eighties one of the very first DTM races was entered, however the big car stood no chance against the much more agile BMW's and Mercedes Benz's...
The car itself was dry stored from the last race and never touched again. It changed hands a few times but no one really got involved with it so it has remained in very original condition. It is still in it's original paint.
A new ATL tank was fitted together with all new safety equipment, the engine rebuilt and all the running gear to bring it back to race ready condition.
Hennie Hemmes was reunited with her car and entered a few historic events together with the current owner.
Tech Specs:
355 c.i. with forged internals, Mahle pistons, fully ported iron heads, mechanical flat tappet cam, single plane intake topped off with a 750 Holley, 470 hp, with 455 lbs/ft off torque.

The car has an excellent history and is eligible for Goodwood and many other prestigious historic race events. It is priced realistically to sell.
