A very rare opportunity to purchase two Maserati Trofeo cars is presented here in the UK. Both cars were delivered directly from the Maserati MC (Maserati Corse) factory to the UK at the beginning of 2016, both cars had competed in the Maserati Trofeo World series competitively.

These two Maserati Trofeo race cars are 2 of just 26 worldwide and so offer an exclusivity to any driver be they racer or collector, there will never be any more manufactured by Maserati, so these cars have instantly become a collector’s piece.

These Trofeo cars are homologated to GT4 specification by Maserati and were adapted to GT4 spec with the Maserati supplied kit. Being fully homologated to GT4 specification means that they can compete in any designated GT4 race or series any where in the world. The GT4 format is quickly becoming one of the most popular formats to race in, examples of these series are the British GT, the European SRO series, Asian GT the British race series the GT Cup etc.

Both cars have been very well maintained and are in excellent working condition, they have been looked after by both Maserati trained technicians and Race car specialists. These cars use the Maserati 4.700cc V8 engine that produces nearly 500HP and plenty of torque, while been virtually bomb proof as engines go these engines are truly wonderful things which also happen to sound out of this world. Coupled to this engine is an electro activated paddle shift system with an automatic blip on down changes. Each Trofeo/GT4 car retains its metal body, with the addition of Carbon fibre front nose, front wings, bonnet, doors, boot lid and rear body work. All this lightening means that the race car is some 400 kgs lighter than the road car.

Both cars have been serviced and checked over and have all new fluids. They come with an extra set of wheels and tyres, service components, hubs, suspension, drive shafts and brake parts etc. These cars are current race cars that have raced and are still racing today. Car number 0036 has won at Zanvorte and Spa where it won twice and set a new course record for GT4 car’s here.

They offer a driver or team an affordable opportunity to race competitively in any GT4 type series today, and will still be a competitive car for 2019.

There is now just one car for sale , chassis 004 is under offer at this time which leves the race winning team car chassis 026 which I believe to be one of the fastest Maserati GT4 cars available today.
