Class winning 2002 Westfield Megablade sprint & hillclimb car. The car is in very good condition with everything in date  and ready to race!
 
Car details are:

Factory Westfield Megablade Chassis giving additional rigidity. MSA/FIA approved Caged Cage with MIRA homologation certificate.

Original orange and black Westfield bodywork with a single Tillet B3.5 carbon fibre seat, customised Caterham R500 dash and carbon fibre honeycombe Tonneau cover. Sabelt harnesses which is dated until 2021. The rear body section and wheel arches are removable to make it quick and easy to change diff ratios, etc. Pre Preg Mickmade rear bulkhead panel and original Westfield aluminium side and tunnel panels.

The car is extremely light weighing approx. 415kg.

The car is MSA log booked and road registered on an age related 02 plate and also has a V5 if someone decides to return the car back to the road but to be honest this is truely a competition car.
 
ENGINE:

2007 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade engine with ported cylinder head, race cams, race pistons and fitted with AB Performance Billet Sump, and Clutch stand off.
Currently produces approx. 185bhp at the flywheeel.

Custom made exhaust manifold made by Tube Engineering and AB Performance lightweight repackable can.
Radtech 60mm core aluminium radiator and Spal cooling fan. Davis Craig electric water pump with the latest LCD automatic controller upgrade which controls both the pump and fan. HRC race ECU & Power Commander and custom made loom by track electronics. Flatshifter system with clutchless upshifting and downshifting.

SUSPENSION:

New Nitron rosejointed race shocks all round with a soft spring setup. Custom made front oval tube rose jointed wishbones with high quality rose joints and smaller NAS bolts to save weight. Rear wishbones are good quality standard Westfield wishbones fitted with nylon bushes. Front and rear playskool anti roll bars.

Corner weighted and fully setup in house taking into account bump steer, caster, camber and toe etc. Setup sheets available.
 
TRANSMISSION:

New STM slipper clutch assembly with almost new Honda clutch pack. Currently fitted with 3.38 Sierra Diff which was recently rebuilt by Road and Race transmissions and has only been used in about 20 sprint events.
Also car comes with 3:62 diff for shorter speed circuits and hill climbs. Both diffs have been heli-coiled to make for easier changes. AB racing paddle shifter kit with custom roller bearing pivot for ultra smooth control. Clutch master cylinder upgraded to a bulkhead mounted AP racing 0.625 rather than the usual original bike cylinder and somewhat inadequate pivot system and long throw.
 
Rear wheels are ultra light 9" Force Racing alloy split rims with nearly new 9x22x13 A15 slicks with plenty of life.
Front wheels are ultra light 8" Force Racing alloy split rims with recent 7x21x 13 A15 slicks. High quality titanium wheels nuts all round.
 
1 x spare set of graphite grey Compomotive CXR rims with ex F3 wet tyres mainly used for testing purposes, etc.

1 x spare set of freshly cut slicks as wets tyres.
