William I'Anson Ltd are pleased to offer for sale the beautiful 1971 Brabham BT35 Formula 2 car.

Supplied new to Ed Reeves in Formula Atlantic specification with Hewland FT200 and fitted with Cosworth BDA engine before being raced by Reeves and young Dave Morgan in Formula Atlantic during 1971.

Fitted with a Dave Wood prepared 1840cc Cosworth for the inaugural race with the new 2000cc Formula 2 regulations. Raced by Dave Morgan at the Mallory Park circuit in the opening round of the 1972 European and British Formula 2 Championships, where he went on to win and beat an absolute all-star field.

Sold to Australia when Reeves’ new BT38 arrived, and raced there until 1977 when put in storage.

Repatriated to the U.K. by John Hughes, best friend of Dave Morgan, and since subject of a full restoration by Simon Hadfield Motorsport with close attention to period details. As such BT35-8 is presented with just one test since rebuilt.
