GTS Motorsport built BMW M3 Evo Race Car

Ex John Cowgill and Callum Lockie multiple Race winning car - Very successful in Endurance Racing. Willhire, Britcar, VLN, Nurburgring.

This is a hugely successful and respected race car. 

This car was hand built by respected race engineers GTS for John Cowgill and Callum Lockie and is the sister car to the well known and hugely respected car run by Harry Handkammer and David Leslie at the time. Originally finished in Estoril Blue in Shopkit livery the car was colour changed to white in 2006 and was subject to an extensive rebuild at the same time.

A Historic race car, this BMW is an extremely capable endurance car and has competed in the 24 hours of Nurburgring, Silverstone 24 hour race on several occasions with fastest laps and class wins and won Willhire 24hrs.

Following successful racing by Cowgill & Lockie with GTS Motorsport, the car has then had a series of successes in Britcar Championship with Willmott, Day, Phipps and many others including pole position and class wins in it’s latest race outing in Britcar Endurance Series at Donington 2017.

It is a beautifully set up M3 having been professionally maintained throughout its life.

Built from new E36 Motorsport shell. No underseal or seam sealer, fully seam welded.

GrpA Cams, racing pistons, balanced crank and Motorsport light weight Flywheel, ARP Rodbolts, Helix 3 plate race clutch (recent)

Extensive roll cage braced through the body to the struts both front and rear including diff pickups.

5 Speed Butler Motorsport built gearbox

3.62 LSD with uprated plates & running diff cooler with rebuilt pump

Janspeed race exhaust system

ATL 120 Ltr Dry Break fueling system with high pressure fuel pump system - with new pumps both in tank and external

Aircraft spec custom racing wiring loom
