Description:
My original race engine (bought on Ebay in a car ) which has done in my ownership 3 meetings and 5 races. Always ran very well until it ran No.3 big end at Silverstone MG Live Equipe GTS race 2. Fortunately I stopped very quickly and so no real damage has been done though the crank will require a regrind. I have a spare MGB crank on standard sizes, so with a polish or regrind and some new bearings and a gasket set, it will be good to go.
The last dyno run (June 17) at Burgess gave 150 hp on a Weber 45 with 40mm chokes. See the video link for its last run out car 57 red MGB on the left.
