Chevrolet Camaro Z28, Ex-Group 1 Touring car.
The car is an original Swiss delivery and got converted into a touring car in 1974. The car has national and international race history in Europe with over 70 starts and comes with two original log books. 1974-1975 with the smal block 350 engine and 1976-1981 with the homologated big block 454 engine. The car has been fully built from scratch with the very best parts available, no expenses spared. The engine comes out of an M8E McLaren, it is an original ZL1 engine prepared in it’s days by the well known swiss engine builder Morand. The engine has been built by a professional, barely run in and runs on pump gas all day long. On the dyno it belted out 550 DIN HP and 730 Nm. The GM 12-bolt rear axle features big Ford bearings (no C-clip) the limited-slip center is from Auburn, ratio 3.08. The gearbox is an aftermarked M22 4-speed from 4 gear trans Co, centerforce clutch with aluminium flywheel, global west lowered springs and bushes, modified bilstein shocks, homologated 4-piston corvette calipers with 12“ disc up front, disc on the rear, FIA roll cage (bolted in) custom made by Heigo, FIA Recaro seats, FIA Schroth racing harness driver and passenger, fully built state of the art 3“ stainless steel exhaust system. The car sits on minilite wheels, 8 x 15“ up front, 10 x 15“ on the rear, with AVON semi slicks type CR6ZZ with 245/60-15 and 275/55-15. The car is street driven and occasionally taken out on slaloms and hill climbs. It is a blast to drive pulling looks wherever she goes. It would suit the most fastidious buyer, you can simply not find a better Camaro.

Camaro Z28 Jg 71, mit Nationaler und Internationaler Renngeschichte mit über 70 Starts und 23 Klassensiegen. Das Fahrzeug ist eine Schweizer Auslieferung. Orginal Wagenpass 1974-1975 mit 5,7 Liter Motor, zweiter Wagenpass 1976-1981 mit 7,5 Liter, Schreiben aus der damaligen Zeit und vielen Orginal Fotos. Der Wagen ist komplett neu aufgebaut, nur beste Teile. Der Motor is ein Orginal McLaren aus einem M8E Rennwagen, GM ZL1 454 Voll-Aluminium Motor mit 550 PS und 730 Nm, läuft problemlos mit bleifreiem Benzin. Die GM 12-Bolzen Hinterachse ist frisch gelagert, und hat ein neues Sperrdifferenzial von Auburn mit 3.08 LSD. Getriebe Alu M22 4-Gang mit Alu-Schwungrad, Hurst shifter und verstärkter Kupplung. Corvette 4-Kolben 12“ Bremsanlage vorne, hinten auch Scheibenbremse. Bilstein Fahrwerk, gelagert auf Teflon Buchsen mit grossen Stabis, Auspuffanlage mit aluminisierten Fächerkrümmern, 3“ Edelstahlrohren, eine Spezialanfertigung angepasst auf das Fahrzeug. FIA Überrollkäfig geschraubt, Massanfertigung von Heigo, FIA Recaro Rennsitze (Pole position) mit FIA 6-Punkt Gurten von Schroth. Felgen Minilite vorne 8 x 15“, hinten 10 x 15“, Reifen Semi slicks AVON Typ CR6ZZ 245/60-15 und 275/55-15. Alle Aenderungen sind im Fahrzeugausweis eingetragen, dass Fahrzeug wird bei Verkauf frisch geprüft. Der Wagen befindet sich in einem absoluten Topzustand, es ist ein sehr schnelles Fahrzeug für den Kenner und Enthusiasten.
