The car was built in late 2016 by current 420R champions DPR Motorsport with every conceivable option and upgrade available. This car is DPR build #18, 07/16.

It was only then used at the last 420R championship round at Donington Park in October 2016 in the hands of Paul Wilson, achieving P3 in qualifying behind championship winner Aaron Head (also run by DPR at the time).

The car package includes the following spec:

• Dry-sumped 175hp 2.0 Duratec, Sadev sequential 6 speed, LSD diff.

• 32LTR FIA ATL Fuel Cell

• AP racing uprated rear brake system

• Full stack data logger and dash

• ACES change up lights

• 3 additional sets of wheels and tyres – 2 with black/diamond cut lightweight Apollo wheels with a set of ZZR (dry) and ZZS tyres (wets). Then 1 set of the 8 spoke style wheels with fresh ZZS (wet) tyres. The 8 spoke wheels have been recently refurbished in gloss black.

• Lightweight lithium-ion battery and mount

• Polished exhaust system

• The car only requires a seat to race, Tillett or Bead-resin type which can be supplied additionally.

This is a ready-to race 420R which also comes with a 2017 championship registration so a place on the grid is guaranteed. It is ideal for anyone who would like to start testing now for the 2017 season and needs a virtually new car. Alternatively, it would provide a solution for someone wishing to test during 2017 for a late championship entry to then focus on 2018 without the lead time required for a new car to be supplied and built.
