This car has been turned into a race/ track day car. Built with the help of Dlrd racing the starlet has a bespoke rollcage, we used most of the original suspension pickups to keep it simple. The running gear is all ford, escort axle with disc conversion and 3.5 plate type slipper. Rear coilovers are SPAX, they were designed back in the day to fit in the original shock position so I had some new ones made. The front legs are bilstien up rated inserts. Wilwood 4 pot front brakes. Engine is a Dlrd xe with coscast head and twin 45 webbers, mbe management , oil cooler, double width anti dive kit, lotus roll bar, adjustable tca's , heavy duty type9 gear box with quaiffe shot shift, custom prop,semi space frame rear,original fuel tank with facet red top pump, Fev electric fire extinguisher, seat and belts are out of date but like new so good for track days, Hoosier wets and cut slicks​​​​​​​
