Description:
MGB race car built by Dug Smith at MG Motorsport circa 2007 and is well know to the Equipe GTS series organisers having competed in MGCC, AMOC and CSCC Clubs
The SCCR gearbox was overhauled by Hardy Engineering in Sept 2014, where new bearings, lay shaft, syncro hubs/rings and the main shaft were replaced.
Car acquired in March 2015 then had One shakedown test day in May 2015 and decision taken to rebuild the engine to class leading spec.
The engine was professionally rebuilt with fresh block, pistons and new internals and set up on the rolling road by Chequered Flag Motorsport (Roy Gillingham) first and only outing in May 2016 at MGLive Equipe GTS
