This is the ideal car to convert into a Kent FF1600 car. The RF99-01 Van Diemen series has proven time again to be the best car for Kent FF1600. This particular car is complete with a Scholar Zetec engine. It hasn't been used in many years and so is the ideal car for conversion to FF1600 spec. It comes with piggy back Ohlins dampers (not suitable in this spec for FF1600) and a PI mini dash. From 2001 onwards Van Diemen began to fit radial mounted brake calipers, this meant the uprights for most RF01 and onwards cars have to be changed, however, this car although an RF01 has the earlier RF00 uprights which makes it even better, easier and cheaper as a Kent conversion car.

The car is a very sound car to start with. All the cars we have converted to Kent spec we strip down to bare chassis, this is not essential, but we consider it the right way to do things. All conversion parts are readily available from oursleves and other suppliers (Medina Sport).

The original plan was to convert it ourselves, but other projects are now taking up our time and hence the reason for sale.
