Description:
FIA spec MGB Roadster 1963
This MGB spent 35 years in a dry garage in Indiana before being put up for sale by a local dealer.
Looking for the basis for an FIA car as a project for him and his then 9 year old son, the current owner shipped it back to the UK.
Over the last two years it has been the subject of a detailed nut and bolt restoration, preserving and re-conditioning as much of the original car as possible, and replacing where required with quality parts.
Everything was removed from the body shell prior to stripping, preparation and painting in original MG colour Iris Blue, correct for the period.
