This 1965 Lotus Elan S2 was purchased in 2008 by classic car race ace Christophe Van Riet, owner of famous Brussels based GIPI MOTORS as his personal race/rally car. The car previously belonged to top classic racing drivers Simon Hadfield & Michael Schryver.

GIPI MOTORS completely rebuild the Elan during 2009/2010 to full 26 R specification with 100% Tony Thompson parts. To much to list but everything is on the accompanying file and over 60.000 € was invested in building a front running Lotus Elan 26 R for endurance racing. Everything correct to FIA appendix K (hence fresh FIA HTP passport valid till 2026):
