Today the car has an LS 7 RHS race engine fitted, 640HP/750NM. Engine has been used for 6 race weekends in Norway. New Build Holinger gearbox.

The car has independent, double wishbone suspension in front and rear with H&R V8 Star Coilovers. Wheels are 18 inches in diameter. Slick control tyres and alloys is 12 inches wide in front and 14 inches in rear. 300/680-18 front and 310/710-18 rear.

Motec V8 Star engine management. Holinger/Ford 9” rear differential. Cooling system for rear axle and gearbox. AP Racing/V8 Star brakes and Endless brakepads. Bosch Racing ABS system.

Extra fibreglass front, rear and doors will follow. This is the original gearbox for this car. Spar e Clutch. Spare mid axle. 2 sets of wheels, slicks and rain tyres.

V8 Star has a mono type tubular chrome-molybdenum steel chassis. The V8 Star series was raced in Germany 2001-2003. New price on this cars in 2001 was 260.000 EUR.

The car is weighted 1,295 kg, of which 90 kg was a fibreglass-reinforced plastic silhouette, 1.92 m wide and 1.36 m high. Rear wings, rear diffusers and front spoilers on V8 Star is adjusted in wind tunnel.

The original silhouettes resembled Audi, BMW, Ford, Jaguar, Lexus Opel and Volkswagen models but were unbranded, as none of the manufacturers were involved in the series. This car has originally a Lexus silhouette which was rebuilt as a Volvo in 2015.
