This is the ex Jonathan Lewis multichampionship winning, Van Diemen Comtec built F4 car. This is the car Jonathan is said to have won every racer he did in it, with lap records, poles and comes with 3 works spec Scholar engines as advertsed by Jonathan last year (his advert shown in the photos).

I bought the car 12 months ago from JL, with the aim to compete in the Monoposto Championship in 2016. It arrived as a box of bits and was rebuilt with new bodywork over the winter. I have only completed one test day at Donington and then one race meeting at Oulton Park in March since the rebuild (plus a demo on the roads at Covmotofest).

This car as JL promised is great to drive, fast and forgiving. We arrived at Oulton having done 6 laps in the dry at Doni and having never driven around Oulton before. By the end of the days racing in very wet conditions, we had put it on pole in the Mono2000 class by 4 seconds (P5 overall in front of alot of modern Dallaras), lead the first race by 40 seconds (until i snapped a driveshaft) and won the second race by 30 seconds. After that weekend i got the opportunity to race with a friend of mine, so i've not raced it since.

As per the original advert, it still comes with 3 engines, 3 sets of wheels (2 sets of slicks and a set of wets), spare wishbones, driveshaft, the old bodywork, L200 Gearbox, PI Dash/Logger and a chance to embarrass some expensive carbon F3 cars.
