Originally registered in 2005 this DAF FA LF45.150 was stripped and had new body designed and built to carry one racing car (250F Maserati) with all support equipment and sleep 4-6 people. From the car management and motor racing point of view, the vehicle has everything: tyre racks, easy loading tail-lift, tie-down locations in aluminium checker-plate clad floor and lots of waterproof stowage provided in skirt-located lockable boxes. The accommodation is high quality, carpeted throughout, providing 4 comfortable berths, or 6 friendly, with good space for children and luggage.  The tilt cab has been modified to include the cab space.  The kitchen area includes sink with hot and cold pressurised water, fridge, microwave and gas hob with high and low level storage. Gas and electric heating.  An in-built shower, washbasin and toilet completes what is a most usable and comfortable package. 

This vehicle is registered as a motor caravan and is eligible to be run without limiter, although for comfort and economy we have kept it operational and calibrated.  The registration certificate qualifies it as 7500kg gross, engine capacity 3920 cc, 2-axle rigid body, type approval number 058R103T. The vehicle is 9.3m long x 3.5m high. The car space is 4630mm long less 220mm for the folded ramps on the back door and 1260mm of this space is 940mm high (front of car goes under) whilst rest of space is 2400mm high. The rear door is 220mm wide x 180mm high.  There is an interconnecting door between the garage compartment and the living accommodation.  Loading ramps, when fully extended, provide a length from the truck edge to the end of the ramps of 3880mm.  The vehicle has been professionally wired for mains incorporating external body mounted plug and automatic battery charging and maintaining unit.  Also included within the chassis is a fresh water tank and foul water catch tank.  Whilst this vehicle has been in our ownership it has been serviced and maintained by DAF main agents - all filters and oils changed annually and any problem uncovered has been rectified with approved DAF spares, consequently when the DAF main agents have presented the vehicle for inspection it has sailed through. Last MOT 24 June 2016.  It has new batteries, new front tyres and good rear tyres.  This transporter has given us 10,000+ miles of troublefree motoring throughout Europe, never needed oil, never missed a beat.  Throughout our ownership it has been stored inside and looks like new.  Personalised number plate not included in sale.
