1969 CHEVRON B15 # F3/69/3.

Car purchased new by the still current owner in January 1969.

Raced by him in two International seasons in Europe and the UK, including qualifying and finishing in the Final at Monaco both in 69 and 70.

It was then put in dry storage at the end of 1970 when the 1 litre Formula ended.

Some 40 years on the car was resurrected for the inaugural 1litre F3 race at the Monaco Historique in 2010 by the same owner/driver, It went through a total ground up restoration by Chevron Racing (Vin Malkie) which also included a new Richardson/Stuart Rolt M.A.E with a N.O.S. Holbay R70 cylinder head plus Nova Motor slide throttle.

The M6 Hewland was fully overhauled and fitted with new MK8/9 gearbox internals. The chassis was updated to current regulations by Nigel Bancroft. The engine has just been rebuilt with 0 miles prior to sale.

The car comes with current F.I.A H.T.P. papers plus a comprehensive spares package including, unused wets, spare body work, nose mould, silencer and megaphone. Included come the 10" AND 12"mag wheels as used in period, plus it's original Don Parker trailer required.
