Breathtakingly quick with 180bhp on fuel injection and emerald ecu. Straight cut box and quaife lsd diff, lithium battery and the list goes on. 618 kg too on 26 r spec chassis.
Still retains its carpets, headlining and electric windows for road going classes.
Perfect for classic Marques or Matty championship.
Comes with lots of spares inc wheels, diff etc.
Major chassis off rebuild in recent years by Bryan Wills at Kings Mews Racing and incredibly good to drive. Most parts from well known specialists and professionally maintained with no expense spared.
It holds a number of prestigious hill & sprint records in my hands and is always one of the quickest roadgoing cars. Probably has more to give in the right hands!! Mot and tax exempt. Insurance is £119.
It is very important to me that this appreciating asset goes to a good home and to someone who can appreciate the work and development that has been done.

More details as requested:
I bought it about 7 years ago from the then secretary of the lotus drivers club.
He replaced the chassis with a stiffened 26r spec unit from Spyder engineering (standard not a space frame) and perfectly straight and solid.
Engine is all steel with rare competition AX block with from memory 420 cams.
Amazing torque and with the injection and ecu so deliverable. Engine is in great shape and about 800 miles since build. Good oil pressure baffled trap door sump and very leak free for a twin cam!
Hi torque starter and lightweight alternator.
Tran x straight cut gear box and quaife lsd diff. Alloy housing etc.
Adjustable rear wishbones, Tony Thompson big bore exhaust / manifold and modified boot floor 26r style. 26r spec lights.
New lithium battery and cut off switch etc.
Wheels are light reproduction +2 Alloys with the modified profile allowing fitment of the larger front callipers.
Alloy fuel tank with baffles and foam + internal swirl for from a Le Mans d type!!
Solid drive shafts of course.
26R style alloy spinners (very rare and light) + originals.
Drilled discs green stuff pads and amazing will wood 4 pot callipers on the front so stopping is awesome too.
Fully adjustable suspension and near perfectly corner weighted.
Lightweight bumpers, bonnet front valance & boot lid.
Small detachable front spoiler modified from a Europa. (Does make a difference)
Bespoke firewall,
"Personal" steering wheel with hand made boss. (type used in F1 by Senna!)
New headlining and carpets with bespoke period lotus style very lightweight seats.(driver on runners)
Roll over bar and in date fia Willians harnesses.
Maintained by Bryan Wills at Kings Mews Racing in Newton Abbot. He's one of the most highly regarded race engineers and a great chap too.
Bodywork is very attractive and stripe will come off if you wanted. If you look very carefully there is a tiny difference in the shades of white on some of the lighter panels but nobody else has seen it and the pistachio green stripe takes your eye off it.
A very small star crack on the back arch thanks to a wheel weight flying off and a mark on drivers sill where I hit a cone!
Both are under stickers.
This is not a car to tour around Europe on holiday with the wife.
If you want one of the fastest road legal hillclimb and Sprint Elan's you won't find better in my opinion.
Comes with a massive box of history and hand written diary from KMR
Mot due in March but my intention is to sell it with 12 months and my normal pre season spanner check with Bryan at near the asking price.
